It was a fairly average hotel which ticked most of the boxes and was conveniently situated near the M5.
The room was quite small, although everything one required was there. The restaurant was closed on the evening we were there and thus meals were served in the bar or entrance foyer which was not satisfactory. Breakfast was very average and our comment to reception that the poached eggs resembled hard boiled did not produce an apology.

Great place with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar lounge. The staff helped me with a late check-in on my first stay. I highly recommend staying here. I'm coming back for Christmas!

Staff were extremely helpful. bedroom a little small but very comfortable.Lovely full english breakfast.
Step a bit steep from en suite into bedroom and had to remove toilet roll from the holder to sit on loo, but these are very minor complaints and wouldn't put us off staying in this lovely hotel again.

Comfortable relaxing hotel, friendly staff willing to accommodate requests where possible
The room was very small but lovely and cosy, however, the room was hot so it was neccessary to have the window open, we were woken on and offf all night be an overfow pipe and also the air conditioning unit which sounded like an engine stopping and starting. If you stay here make sure you ask for a quiet room

On checking in I found the staff unfriendly. The car park is too small for the number of parking bays they had and I witnessed two near misses of people trying to get out. The room smelt musty although it was tidy. The room tea and coffee facilities were atrocious and the kettle looked like it had not been cleaned for years, disgusting! To get into the bathroom you had to climb a step which was awkward. My toasted sandwich had a hair in it but the man serving me was so disinterested I didn't bother complaining. At breakfast there was no greeting or menu. Overall very poor stay and definitely not worth the £75 charge

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and its location within the hotel made it quite and peaceful.
On one occasion we had a strawberry desert. Unfortunately there was also a taste of onions as well on the desert.
